Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features WCRI’s announcement that will host a free 30-minute webinar to explore key drivers shaping medical payment growth in recent years across 27 states.
WCRI noted that medical payments per claim increased in most study states between 2022 and 2025, although the increases varied considerably across states. The webinar follows the latest findings from the 2026 edition of WCRI’s CompScope™ Medical Benchmarks, and key areas of exploration will include how changes in prices and utilization contribute to recent changes in medical payments per claim; and other factors that may have contributed to growth in medical payments per claim across most states.
