Sanderson Firm Announces Seven Internal Promotions, Surpasses 100 Employees

September 18, 2026 - WorkCompWire

Bradenton, FL – Sanderson Firm PLLC recently announced that it has surpassed 100 employees, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s continued growth since its founding in 2021.

“Reaching more than 100 employees is an incredibly proud moment for me personally and for our entire team,” said Heather Sanderson, Founder and CEO of Sanderson Firm. “When I started the firm in 2021, I had a vision for building a different kind of company, one that combined deep technical expertise with exceptional client service while creating a workplace where talented people could build meaningful careers. To see that vision grow into a team of more than 100 people is incredibly rewarding.”

While the firm has exceeded the 100-employee milestone, Sanderson emphasized the achievement is less about the number itself and more about what it represents.

“Surpassing 100 employees isn’t just about reaching a number on a spreadsheet,” Sanderson said. “It represents 100-plus people who bring their expertise, ideas and commitment to our clients every day. It represents the careers we’re building, the opportunities we’re creating and the culture we’ve worked hard to protect while scaling. That is what makes this milestone so special.”

Along with reaching this milestone, Sanderson Firm is announcing seven internal promotions, recognizing the leadership, expertise and contributions of team members who have played an important role in the firm’s growth and success. The firm’s seven promotions reflect its continued investment in developing leaders from within the organization:

  • Annie M. Davidson — Executive Vice President, Policy and Innovation
  • Bridget Smith — Executive Vice President, Legal Strategy
  • Kayla Pigeon — Senior Vice President, MSP Compliance
  • Deanna Lawrence — Senior Vice President, MSA Services
  • Marci Thomas — Senior Vice President, Strategy
  • Cory Lozon — Vice President, Technology
  • Michelle Greenwalt — Assistant Vice President, Finance

“These promotions are particularly meaningful because every one of these leaders has grown within Sanderson Firm and demonstrated they are ready to take on greater responsibility,” Sanderson said. “As we grow, developing our people and creating opportunities for advancement is one of my highest priorities. I am incredibly proud of what each of these individuals has accomplished and excited to see them continue to shape the future of our firm.”

The promotions also reflect the increasingly sophisticated infrastructure and breadth of expertise within the firm, with expanded leadership across policy and innovation, legal strategy, MSP compliance, MSA services, corporate strategy, technology and finance.

Sanderson Firm remains committed to building a scalable organization while maintaining the expertise, responsiveness and client-focused culture that have been central to its success.
