NCCI Announces Planned Retirement of Mark Mileusnic, Search for Successor

September 2, 2026 - WorkCompWire

Boca Raton, FL – The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) recently announced that Mark Mileusnic, Chief External Relations Officer, plans to retire in the first quarter of 2027, following a distinguished career serving the workers compensation industry.

Mileusnic has played a central role at NCCI in strengthening relationships with carriers, regulators, and industry stakeholders. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in advancing customer operations, enhancing engagement across the industry, and reinforcing NCCI’s commitment to delivering trusted insights and services.

Mileusnic joined NCCI in 2006 after spending the first 20 years of his insurance career with Chubb in a variety of leadership positions around the United States and the world including postings to Europe, the Asia Pacific region, and India. His focus on building strong partnerships and developing high-performing teams has left a lasting impact on both NCCI and the broader industry.

“Mark’s leadership and dedication have been invaluable to NCCI and the industry we serve,” said Tracy Ryan, President and CEO of NCCI. “Mark has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our mission and to our stakeholders and has helped position NCCI for continued success.”

Mileusnic’s planned retirement timeline allows for a thoughtful and deliberate transition. NCCI will share additional details regarding succession plans in the coming months.
