Lakewood Ranch, FL – WorkCompCollege.com recently announced the launch of its new multi-tiered scholarship program to support those looking to expand their professional education within the workers’ compensation ecosystem.
The scholarship program is open to current professionals working in the workers’ compensation field and those who are looking to pursue this profession.
“We are committed to supporting the current and next generation of those individuals who will be leading this profession for decades to come.” said Robert Wilson, President of WorkCompCollege.com. “This scholarship program is our way, with the support of like-minded partners, of giving back to the entire workers’ compensation community and helping those students who are passionate about the concept of workers recovery.”
The scholarship program will award full scholarships to the Workers’ Recovery Professional certification training to any recipient of a Kids’ Chance scholarship who wishes to have a career in the industry. Additionally, there are Partner Scholarships available with the support of Ametros, as well as the prestigious law firms Hennessey & Roach, P, C., Walker, Revels, Greninger, PLLC, and Evans & Dixon, L.L.C.
Last but not least, up to five scholarships for honorably discharged veterans will be awarded. The winners will be selected based on their experience, education, extracurricular activities, and personal essays. “We are looking for students who are not only academically gifted, but who are also passionate about making a difference in the world,” said Donald A. Abrams, PA Chair of the scholarship committee.
