Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation’s (CHSWC) release of two annual reports, one for its work and one for the Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program (WOSHTEP).
The Commission’s report covers California’s systems and includes numerous recommendations to improve operations; highlights recent legislative and regulatory changes; shows numerical and graphical trends over time and presents research that examines topics of interest to Commissioners and system stakeholders. The WOSHTEP report includes the program’s labor-management Advisory Board’s recap & evaluation of the development and impact of its activities, including partnerships with employers, workers and insurance.
