Columbus, OH – The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) recently announced that in a unanimous decision, the Senate has advised and consented to the appointment of Shawn Crosby as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BWC.
With over 30 years of experience at BWC, Crosby brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.
As COO, Crosby oversees four operational divisions, leading a team of approximately 900 staff members across the state. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance and consistency in injury management, policy management, performance consultative services, and customer service.
Annually, her team handles a staggering workload, managing thousands of claims, contact center calls, chat interactions, email responses, employer policies, and overseeing self-insured employers and subsidiary companies.
