Merrill, WI – Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I.1 (a stock insurer) recently announced two strategic additions to its senior leadership team.
Pam Rushing joined Church Mutual as president – subsidiaries and chief underwriting officer Monday, June 5, reporting to President Alan Ogilvie. She is based in Church Mutual’s downtown Milwaukee office.
“Pam brings an incredible wealth of insurance knowledge to our enterprise, coupled with a commitment to strategic change, growth and cross-functional collaboration,” according to Ogilvie. “She is an important addition to our senior leadership team and will help ensure our success for decades to come.”
Most recently, Rushing worked for The Hanover Insurance Group, serving as president – Specialty Property and Casualty. Throughout her career, she has held high-impact roles in management and underwriting with a variety of well-known companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and risk management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. She and her family reside in Franklin, Wisconsin.
Effective May 29, Andy Bloechl was promoted to assistant vice president – administration, serving as chief of staff. He will facilitate operations and initiatives throughout the Church Mutual family of insurance companies.
Bloechl joined Church Mutual in 2016 and most recently served as director of operations for its subsidiary company, CM Vantage Insurance Company, an excess and surplus lines carrier. He has more than 20 years of insurance experience with an emphasis on insurance operations. Bloechl began his career as a licensed multi-line insurance agent and has developed expertise in customer service, issue resolution and operational efficiency. Prior to joining CM Vantage, he worked for Capitol Insurance Companies, a member of the Alleghany Group.
Bloechl holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Edgewood College. He and his family reside in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and he remains based in Madison, Wisconsin.
