Tucson, AZ – The American Association of Payers, Administrators and Networks (AAPAN) recently announced newly ratified officers at the conclusion of the 2023 AAPAN Innovations Retreat, held April 17-18 in AZ at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa.
Kevin Tribout, Vice President of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Optum Workers’ Comp & Auto No-fault assumed the AAPAN Chairman seat for a two-year term. Dale White, President and Chief Executive Officer at MultiPlan assumed the Vice Chair seat, and John Green, Senior Vice President of Networks at HealthSmart assumed the Secretary/Treasurer seat.
Tribout is replacing Coventry’s Kate Farley-Agee who served as AAPAN Co-Chair from 2020 to 2023. A dedicated member of AAPAN’s Board of Directors, Tribout is enthusiastic to step into this new role. “I am truly honored and excited to expand my role with AAPAN. I look forward to leading the efforts to grow AAPAN’s footprint in advocating and educating public policy makers on the issues important to all our members. As I start my new role, I truly stand on the shoulders of giants…or at least people who are taller than I am,” he said.
Tribout spearheads client education, communication and compliance programs on the latest legislative and regulatory initiatives. He reviews the impact of legislative and regulatory issues, helps to ensure compliance across all business units and acts as a direct liaison to state legislators and regulators on behalf of Optum Workers’ Comp & Auto No-fault. Tribout is in his sixth term as co-chair of National Council for Prescription Drug Programs’ Work Group -16 (Workers’ Compensation/Property and Casualty) and is in his second term as a member of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) Medical Issues Committee.
