Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features ReEmployAbility’s release of the latest edition of its Transition2Work Program Results Summary, which reports on the program’s community impact, performance results, and injured worker outcomes through fiscal year 2022.
The Transition2Work program places injured employees at local nonprofit organizations to perform light duty work when their employer cannot accommodate their physical restrictions on-site. Key highlights from this edition included the new addition in 2022 of collection of data concerning the Injured Worker experience, which rated the program 99% positively. Of the injured employees referred, 54% participated in a nonprofit assignment, and gave back 400 hours to a non-profit organization. Overall, 59% of employees referred successfully returned to work with their pre-injury employer, reached Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI), or resolved their claim.
