Cambridge, MA – The Workers Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) recently announced a panel on the “Impact of the Labor Shortage” that will be held at its 2023 WCRI Issues & Research Conference, March 21-22 at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Labor shortages impact the ability of businesses to run and be profitable, but they also impact workers, from having to work longer hours to doing jobs and tasks they are not familiar with,” said John Ruser, WCRI’s president and CEO. “I look forward to talking with our distinguished and diverse panel about these labor shortages, how they are impacting their organizations, and what they are doing to mitigate them.
The panel is made up of Steve Perroots, Vice President of Global Claims at Marriott International; Anne Marie Watkins, Vice President of National Patient Care Services at Kaiser Permanente; Vance Ayres, Director of Wind Turbine Affairs/Organizer at the International Union of Elevator Constructors; and Joan Vincenz, Managing Director – Operations Risk at United Airlines.
The WCRI conference’s two-day program highlights the Institute’s latest research findings while drawing upon the diverse perspectives of highly respected workers’ compensation experts and policymakers from across the country.
