Erie, PA – Erie Insurance (ERIE) recently announced promotions and appointments of four new vice presidents within the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Workplace Services and Information Technology (IT) areas.
Gwen White has been promoted to vice president, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
White, a long-time ERIE underwriting manager, has been serving full time since her 2020 appointment by Tim NeCastro, Erie Insurance president and CEO, in the CEO Action for Racial Equity Fellowship program. White is part of a team of nearly 250 professionals from 100 companies nationwide working to address systemic racism and social injustice through public policy at federal, state and local levels.
“Gwen is well-positioned to advance our activation of ERIE’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments,” said Chris Marsh, chief diversity and community development officer. “She has more than 35 years’ experience as an ERIE Employee and respected leader and has been active in our DEI work from its beginnings more than a decade ago.”
White continues to be active in many community organizations affecting the quality of life of others. She has served as vice chair of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and on the boards of many nonprofit organizations in northwestern Pennsylvania, including United Way of Erie County, Erie County Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission, Erie County Convention Center Authority, GECAC and several others.
Morgan Twombly has been promoted to vice president, Workplace Services.
Twombly has spent her 13-year career with ERIE supporting Corporate Services. She joined the company as an architectural CAD specialist and has been continually promoted serving in roles from facilities project planner to senior project manager. As vice president, Twombly will oversee real estate, workplace layout and design, facilities services and the corporate archives group.
“Morgan has successfully executed projects within the Corporate Services Division including contributions to the construction of ERIE’s Learning Center, Knowledge Park lease acquisition and relocation, and key projects for the Thomas B. Hagen Building and returning thousands of employees to physical offices using a phased, systematic approach across ERIE’s footprint,” said Jeff Brinling, senior vice president, corporate services.
Morgan received her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Mercyhurst University and a master’s in organizational management from University of Arizona Global Campus. She holds the AINS insurance designation and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
Sean Bebko has been named vice president, Information Technology (IT), leading ERIE’s digital transformation.
Sean joined ERIE in 2011 as a project manager and has held several IT leadership positions including roles in data services and ERIE Experience. He will continue to lead the Experience IT team and work closely with key business partners to mature ERIE’s digital strategy.
While serving as a director, Sean significantly contributed to the success of ERIE’s Quote Flow initiative, which allows new customers in certain locations to visit erieinsurance.com to get a quote and be quickly connected to an ERIE agent in their neighborhood.
“The IT leadership team and I look forward to working with Sean to continue to accelerate, execute and deliver on ERIE’s digital transformation,” said Sheryl Rucker, senior vice president, Information Technology.
Prior to joining ERIE, Sean spent over a decade in key technology roles at Telatron Marketing Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Gannon University and earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Penn State University.
Gary Rajkumar has joined the company as vice president, Information Technology (IT), leading IT modernization.
Previously, Rajkumar served as associate vice president for Mphasis Corporation, where he was responsible for multi-year transformation programs and led initiatives that included transformation of core insurance products, technology platform modernization, enterprise automation and end-to-end application data management services. He has also held roles at ValueMomentum, Majesco and Accenture.
“Bringing Gary onboard is a critical step to ensure ERIE’s products and services are consistently supported by modern infrastructure and enhance our competitive position,” said Tim Shine, senior vice president, Information Technology.
Rajkumar earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh, India and master’s degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
