FL DWC Releases 2022 Results and Accomplishments Report

Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation’s recently released its 2022 Results and Accomplishments Report, which covers relevant data and regulatory information related to the administration of the state’s workers’ compensation system.

The report covers medical data including medical payment data broken down by provider categories, and additional breakdowns for hospital inpatient and outpatient services; ASCs; pharmacy vs physician repackaged, non-repackaged, and compound drugs; number and paid total of dispensed drugs and opioids; and the top 20 drugs dispensed.

Indemnity data includes the top ten industrial classifications for lost-time claims; distribution by county; an illustration on total benefit payments for the top four industrial classifications; and breakdowns on frequency and rate as well as Cause, Nature, & Body Part.

The report also includes financial results for the Workers’ Compensation Administration Trust Fund (WCATF) and Special Disability Trust Fund (SDTF); and a review of regulatory activities.
