ReEmployAbility Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Examination

January 17, 2023 - WorkCompWire

Brandon, FL – ReEmployAbility recently announced that it has successfully completed a SOC 2® Type 2 Service Organization Controls (SOC) examination. This is a subsequent compliance for the company, having completed the SOC 2® Type 1 examination in 2021.

The SOC 2® Type 2 examination provides reasonable assurance to users about the suitability of the design of a company’s controls placed into operation along with their operating effectiveness against the relevant Trust Services Criteria for a period of time.

ReEmployAbility is committed to data security practices and for customers who rely on our company to secure, control, and efficiently manage their sensitive personal identifiable information (PII) and program data. Many of the top workers’ compensation insurance companies and third-party administrators trust ReEmployAbility to meet their strict data security and compliance initiatives.

“At ReEmployAbility we are passionate about helping people make an impact on their communities. Offering reliable and efficient services helps make that possible, and it has made our Transition2Work program the premier choice of return-to-work services,” said ReEmployAbility IT Director, Abby Torres. “Improving our practices and standards will remain a priority.”

ReEmployAbility chose 360 Advanced, Inc.- a cybersecurity and compliance firm offering integrated compliance solutions- to perform the third-party examination. ReEmployAbility’s SOC 2 Type 2 report attests to the operational effectiveness of internal controls to meet the requirements set forth in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
