Frankfort, KY – The Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet recently announced that Lucretia Reasons Johnson has been named deputy commissioner at the Department of Workers’ Claims.
Ms. Johnson has more than 25 years of government experience. Much of her career has been dedicated to assisting injured workers, attorneys, government officials, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Prior to accepting the new role, Ms. Johnson served as director of the Division of Specialist and Medical Services, which oversees the department’s Specialist Section, Medical Services Branch, Open Records, Rehabilitation, and Drug-Free Workplace.
Additionally, Ms. Johnson has served as a specialist in the Frankfort office and spent more than 10 years of her career managing the Paducah field office.
Since 2009, she has also served as co-chair of the Medical-Rehabilitation Committee for the Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators (SAWCA).
