Farmington Hills, MI – Amerisure recently announced that Marty Arnold has joined the organization as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.
In this role, Arnold will lead the company underwriting strategy in support of Amerisure’s long-term strategic objectives. While driving profitability and growth for underwriting operations, he also will oversee the corporate underwriting, product, underwriting systems and technology teams.
“We are excited to welcome Marty to the operational leadership team at Amerisure,” said Angela McBride, chief operating officer at Amerisure. “Marty’s proven leadership skills and extensive experience with property and casualty insurance services and solutions, actuarial, underwriting and strategic planning makes him a valuable addition to our team.”
With more than three decades in the insurance industry, Arnold began his insurance career in 1991 with The St. Paul Companies, rotating through a variety of actuarial roles and serving as director of corporate planning and development. He then held a variety of leadership responsibilities at SECURA Insurance over the past 22 years, including chief actuary and chief underwriting officer, while also having oversight for research and development, reinsurance, and risk management.
Arnold earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
