Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the IAIABC’s recent announcement of the winners of the 2022 NextGen Awards. In the past the IAIABC has noted the lack of younger talent as an important and ongoing issue within the workers’ comp community, and the NextGen Awards recognize individuals under the age of 40 who are having a positive impact on the workers’ comp industry and doing exemplary work for their organizations.
Recipients will be profiled in a special issue of IAIABC’s Perspectives digital magazine and have their stories shared throughout the year and at the IAIABC’s 108th convention. Over the six years of the IAIABC NextGen Awards, 45 individuals have been recognized with a NextGen Award, and this year for the first time the IAIABC is also recognizing 11 honorable mentions whose work is helping to progress and elevate the workers’ comp industry.
