Tower MSA Webinar to Share “Tricks of the Trade” for MSAs

July 14, 2022 - WorkCompWire

Delray Beach, FL – Not all Medicare Set-Asides are created the same. Tower MSA Partners recently announced that it will share insights into some of the specialized areas during “Tricks of the Trades for Successful MSA Outcomes.”

Tower’s Chief Compliance Officer Dan Anders will discuss $0 MSA approvals, whether to include the results of an Independent Medical Examination or similar report in the MSA, and using court orders to limit medical care. Other topics include when and how to use the MSA Amended Review process and the correct verbiage for treating physician statements.

“Claims professionals and attorneys often receive conflicting and unclear information around these topics, making working with the MSA and the whole settlement process tricky,” Anders said.

Anders has written and submitted thousands of MSAs to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for nearly two decades. Claims representatives, attorneys and others involved in workers’ compensation settlements can tap into his expertise during the free webinar.

The hour-long webinar starts at 2 p.m. on July 20.
