Prodigy Care Services Adds COO Paul Norkett & Chief Sales Officer Kevin Lanphier to C-Suite

July 13, 2022 - WorkCompWire

Austin, TX – Prodigy Care Services recently named two senior executives with deep expertise in pharmacy, managed care, workers’ compensation, and property and casualty insurance lines to its senior leadership team.

Prodigy’s new Chief Operating Officer, Paul Norkett, oversees day-to-day operations and the design and development of Prodigy’s end-to-end business application for customers and employees. Norkett most recently served as chief operating officer of Adva-Net and helped guide it through its acquisition by Paradigm Specialty Networks.

“I had the pleasure of working with Paul for the better part of 20 years,” said President Matthew Imes. “His client-focused strategic planning, communication and leadership skills are unsurpassed. There is nobody better suited for this role than Paul and we are fortunate to have him.”

Norkett has more than 30 years’ experience in managed care with workers’ compensation companies, including Sedgwick, Cambridge Solutions/Concentra Managed Care, and Cunningham Lindsey. He earned his master’s degree in Business Administration-Strategic Leadership from the University of Dallas, where he also served as an adjunct professor in its Graduate School of Business. He is also a board member of the American Association of Payors, Administrators and Networks.

Kevin Lanphier joins Prodigy as chief sales officer, overseeing its sales and marketing initiatives and teams. During his 25-year career, Lanphier has held senior sales positions with national pharmacy benefit management and medical bill review payment integrity organizations. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales for Equian, a payment integrity organization that is now part of Optum. He started his career with Genex and is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Sandler Sales Training.

“While Kevin’s capacity to grow revenue organically and lead sales and marketing teams makes him a great fit for our organization,” said CEO Del Doherty, “his leadership and ability to translate and communicate our vision to the industry makes him invaluable to our mission for complete transparency and enhanced service to payers.”
