Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features WCRI’s release of the online version of its 2022 Annual Report, which examines all of the Institute’s activities in 2021, and opens with a letter from WCRI CEO John Ruser.
In his letter, Ruser notes that WCRI’s benchmarking studies have begun to capture the impact of COVID-19 on workers’ comp systems, and that other 2021 studies provided an early look at the pandemic’s impact on claims composition and delivery of medical care in workers’ comp and a timely examination of telemedicine. Key items from the report include a listing of studies published last year, abstracts of a portion of them, where research was used and shared, WCRI’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, interviews with members, and a listing of members and supporters.
