Austin, TX – Texas Mutual Insurance Company recently named James (Jim) Ziolkowski, of Lakeway, Texas as regional vice president for its Austin office. In this role, Ziolkowski, who has worked at Texas Mutual for seven years, will oversee regional operations for Austin and the surrounding areas.
“Jim has been a vital part of the Austin office for several years. As RVP, he will continue to serve our valuable agent partners and support Central Texas businesses,” said Rich Gergasko, president and CEO of Texas Mutual. “His continued education and dedication to community involvement are important values he shares with our company and will carry forward in this role.”
With 30 years in the industry, Ziolkowski holds valuable experience in recruiting, training, developing and mentoring future organizational leaders. He holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation. He was most recently a senior manager for regional underwriting at Texas Mutual.
Ziolkowski currently serves on the board of directors of the Central Texas CPCU Chapter, The Hannon Society Board and the Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio Foundation.
Prior to moving to Texas, he most notably served as president of the St. Louis Agents Association and as a board member of the St. Louis Chapter of the CPCU Society, the Missouri Association of Independent Agents, Illinois Union Insurance Company, Cigna of Illinois and Edgewood Children’s Center. He is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
