Christian Mouritzen Joins Transparent Health Marketplace as Senior VP of Marketing

April 1, 2022 - WorkCompWire

Philadelphia, PA – Transparent Health Marketplace, Inc. recently announced the recent hire of Christian Mouritzen as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Mouritzen is overseeing the company’s rebranding efforts as it solidifies its place as the leading transparent Opyn marketplace for workers’ compensation and the No Surprises Act solution. In addition, Mouritzen will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies within the broader healthcare market, helping to drive aggressive growth as the company transforms the way all consumers shop, book, and pay for healthcare.

Prior to founding and running his own consultancy, Mouritzen’s impressive experience has included developing and implementing the global brand strategy and related product brands for Visa International. He also spent over a decade building Capita Technologies’ digital marketing division to become the marketing technology arm for many of Interpublic Group’s advertising agencies. Driven by strong entrepreneurial experience and a deep analytical approach to deliver tangible results, Mouritzen has a demonstrated record of securing impactful and profitable partnerships between cutting-edge technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, including Alcon, Boston Scientific, Disney, Hilton Hotels, Mars, Motorola and Toyota.

“We are bringing a technology transformation and an entirely new way of thinking to an industry weighed down by legacy systems, outdated models, and expensive intermediaries,” said Robert C. Mortensen, President and CEO at THM. “Christian’s successes with introducing and driving adoption of innovative technologies across both B2B and consumer industries, as well as using strategic marketing efforts to forge lucrative sales channels, will prove incredibly valuable during this high-growth stage. We are thrilled to have his experience and expertise on the leadership team.”

“THM is more than a healthtech company: it’s a movement to make affordable, quality healthcare available to everyone, which resonates deeply with me,” said Mouritzen. “Our team works passionately to engage with and empower all stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem to optimize their outcomes. I am excited to be bringing our movement to life and to help advance a brand and a company that will truly change the way we experience and transact healthcare.”

Mouritzen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen, Denmark, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Marketing Strategy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
