Louisville, KY – ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company recently announced the appointment of a new member of the company’s Board of Directors, Yvette Gentry.
Gentry is a twenty-eight year veteran of local government with broad experience, ranging from entry level dispatcher to Chief of Police in one of the largest police agencies in the country, including three years of Executive Leadership in the Office of the Mayor. Gentry served in the United States National Guard as a Personnel Records Specialist.
Currently, Gentry holds the role of Project Director for the Metro United Way Louisville. As a Project Director, she is responsible for assembling high-level decisions makers to create citywide strategies to address the gaps in African American male achievement. In addition, Gentry is an Executive Director for the Rajon Rondo Foundation, investing in our youth by supporting, mentoring, and providing resources to help them become responsible, productive, and socially responsible adults.
Gentry also serves as a Board Member of Louisville Filed Office Joint Terrorism Task Force and Louisville Arena Authority, and is a Committee Member of the Evolve 502 Scholarship. Amongst her many professional accomplishments, Gentry was recently listed as Insider Louisville’s Top 100 leaders in Louisville, and received the Louisville Business Weekly Woman Making a Difference Award in 2017.
