Fankfort, KY – The Workers’ Compensation Nominating Committee is now accepting applications to fill two vacant Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) positions in the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims for a term expiring December 31, 2025. The positions are full-time positions and appointees shall not hold any other public office or maintain any private practice.
Pursuant to KRS 342.230(2), an applicant must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Commonwealth in the practice of workers’ compensation law or a related field and have extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation law. The salary to be paid is that of a Circuit Court Judge.
Applications shall include a cover letter, current resume and a completed Administrative Law Judge Application Supplement (PDF).
