Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features a pair of partnership announcements, starting with Paradigm’s announcement that it is launching a new value-based partnership with top-ranked national rehabilitation hospital Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. The new partnership will aim to to anticipate patients’ recovery trajectories and provide greater transparency to the total long-term costs associated with care at the onset of treatment.
Also in the news today is the announcement from Matrix Absence Management and TRISTAR Insurance Group of their intent to enter a strategic partnership to develop enhanced commercial and workers’ compensation services and build an integrated total absence platform for employers of all sizes. Under the partnership, Matrix’s commercial and workers’ comp TPA business will transfer to TRISTAR effective in June.
