Dr. Claire Muselman Joins North American Risk Services as VP of Workers’ Compensation

Orlando, FL – North American Risk Services, Inc. (NARS) recently announced that Dr. Claire Muselman has joined the organization as Vice President of Workers’ Compensation. In this position, Claire will be responsible for overseeing programs assigned to the Workers’ Compensation Department’s claims and ancillary units. As an integral part of the Executive Management team, she will assist in decisions, work groups and implementations that affect the course of the company.

Claire is a transformational leader who has a clear passion for the workers’ compensation industry, developing people, and finding better ways to manage process. I’m thrilled to welcome Claire to the NARS team,” said President and CEO Robert Ruryk.

Claire has earned a variety of industry designations including SCLA Gold, AIC, AIC-M, AIM, AIS, AINS, ACS, CLP, and CLMP. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, a Master’s of Public Administration, a Specialist’s of Educational Leadership in Business from Drake University, and a Doctorate of Education focused on Organizational Leadership in Business from Grand Canyon University. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Drake University in the College of Business & Public Administration and the College of Education.

Claire leads the Iowa Chapter as an Ambassador for the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation, is President-Elect for the International Association of Insurance Professionals, a member of Rising Insurance Star Executives. She also serves on the SFM Foundation: Kids Chance of Iowa Board of Directors and the Workers’ Compensation Community Board for Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). Claire is also a monthly contributor for Just Begin Magazine and WorkersCompensation.com.

She loves traveling, being outdoors, and challenging herself athletically.
