Jonathan Nutt Joins Medata as Chief Technology Officer

April 6, 2021 - WorkCompWire

Irvine, CA – Thomas Herndon, President of Medata recently announced that the company appointed Jonathan Nutt as Chief Technology Officer.

“The selection of Nutt has brought new perspective and excitement to the leadership team,” says Herndon.

As CTO, Nutt will design and implement product enhancements and develop new solutions.

Jonathan used Medata’s products in his most recent position as Head of Medical Management Services for the American International Group (AIG), one of Medata’s prestigious clients. Nutt was with AIG since 1995, holding executive posts in finance and operations as well as medical management.

“Having used Medata’s technology for several years, I’m rather enjoying being on this side,” Nutt said. “We’ve created a state-of-the art centralized database encompassing all of Medata’s products that is data- and tech-driven rather than document-driven, using data and automation in an integral way.”

The knowledge and ethos of the people who work at Medata attracted Nutt. “The way they approach things–by doing the right thing, the right way, by your customers and everyone else in the system–aligns with my thought process,” he said.

Sandy Blunt, as COO, will continue to design and implement business strategies, set performance and growth goals, and oversee the company’s daily operations. Sandy’s customer-centric approach coupled with Jonathan’s ability to develop innovative solutions from a customer-based viewpoint, will further Medata’s position as the leading technology and service provider in the cost containment market.

“Together they are a dynamic duo proving to be a great asset to an already talented leadership team,” says Tom Herndon.

“Passion and integrity are key components of building strong relationships and creating efficient, customer-centric solutions. Jonathan and I share these values and have developed the synergy to ensure Medata’s vision can be an operational and technological reality,” said Sandy Blunt.
