Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation’s (CHSWC) release of two annual reports for its work and for the Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program (WOSHTEP).
The Commission’s report covers California’s systems and includes numerous recommendations to improve operations; highlights recent legislative and regulatory changes; presents trends over time; and shares research on topics of interest to Commissioners and stakeholders. The WOSHTEP report includes the program’s labor-management Advisory Board’s recap & evaluation of the development and impact of activities, including partnerships with employers, workers and insurance.
