Key highlights included removing barriers to care, including helping injured workers overcome hesitancy; early engagement, which can have numerous positive ripple effects on recovery; clinical oversight to help ensure patients stay on the path to recovery; use of data in both treatment planning and in conversation with injured workers; keeping care coordinated; and defining what a ‘good outcome’ would actually mean for all those involved.
