Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features Genex’s recent release of the results of its 2020 Field Case Management Patient Satisfaction survey, which not only examined patient satisfaction, but sought to identify critical components that injured employees reported as the most important factors in meeting recovery goals.
Major field case management factors highlighted included facilitating communications and planning between physicians, providers and employers; maintaining experience-driven focus on safe and sustained return to work; including the injured employee in their own recovery plan; educating, answering questions and addressing concerns of injured employees; and always being available for the injured employee questions and concerns.
