Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the announcement from IMCS of the launch of its “COVID Rebound” program, which provides evidence-based behavioral therapy to essential workers most impacted by the pandemic.
The new program was designed to support workers suffering from COVID-19 related anxiety and/or depression as well as the potential neurological and cognitive impacts of the condition, with pathways for COVID-19 positive patients (with or without an established psych diagnosis), patients with complex medical complications, and COVID-19 negative patients with mental health needs and return-to-work hesitancy. The program will offer treatment through tele-behavioral health to avoid the need for travel outside of their home.
