February 9, 2021 - WorkCompWire

St. Petersburg, FL – IMCS Group (IMCS) recently announced that Aimee Peters will be joining its executive team as Chief Clinical Innovations Officer (CCIO). In the newly created role, Peters will be responsible for all of IMCS’s strategic clinical initiatives.

Prior to joining IMCS, Peters was Chief Clinical Officer at AbleTo, Inc. (AbleTo), a pioneer in providing technology-enabled behavioral healthcare services to many of the US’s largest health insurers across all 50 states. She brings nearly 25 years of clinical expertise, strategic acumen, product and program development, and leadership experience in the behavioral healthcare industry.

“I am thrilled to be joining as IMCS’s first CCIO,” said Aimee Peters. “I look forward to working with IMCS’s experienced executive team to grow the company’s network of providers and expand its world-class portfolio of products and services proven to help employees return to work more quickly and in better health.”

In her new role, Peters will develop and manage a clinical roadmap designed to deliver exceptional service and clear results to IMCS’s blue-chip clients. She will collaborate cross-functionally and assume responsibility for all of IMCS’s strategic clinical initiatives.

“We are very excited to welcome Aimee to our executive team,” said Lori Daugherty, CEO of IMCS. “Throughout her career, Aimee has pioneered virtual behavioral healthcare. I look forward to having her expertise as we build the first, best and only behavioral health platform focused on the workers’ compensation market.”

In addition to her professional experience, Peters holds a Master of Science from Columbia University School of Social Work, a B.A in Social Work from The Catholic University of America, Washington D.C., and a Post Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the Family, New York.
