Austin, TX – Texas Mutual Insurance Company recently announced its 2020 State of Workplace Safety: The Work Safe, Texas Online Summit.
During the one-hour virtual summit on September 2, attendees from across Texas will learn from safety professionals about best practices for building and maintaining workplace safety in the midst of a global pandemic.
Texas Mutual’s objective for the summit is to educate and connect business owners and operations leaders on building and maintaining workplace safety practices. Discussions will include best practices and guidance for Texas employers on how to navigate workplace safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has no doubt changed the way that many Texas businesses are operating,” said Jeremiah Bentley, Texas Mutual’s vice president of marketing and customer engagement. “It is our hope this summit will help guide Texas employers in the right direction for maintaining workplace safety practices to protect their employees—and themselves—in the face of unforeseen obstacles this year has presented.”
The virtual conference will feature a panel of Texas employers discussing current safety practices their companies have in place and how they have adapted to this new environment. A second panel will feature a discussion with Texas Mutual’s manager of regional safety services for the Dallas Region and a Texas Mutual epidemiologist providing tips and guidance for business leaders.
Following the panel discussions, attendees will be able to participate in a live Q&A allowing them the opportunity to have their questions answered by safety experts in real time.
