Dane Street Announces HITRUST CSF Recertification

September 30, 2020 - WorkCompWire

Palm Beach Gardens, FL -(BusinessWire)- Dane Street, a URAC-accredited Independent Review Organization and provider of Peer Reviews and Independent Medical Examination services to the Group Health, Workers’ Compensation, Auto, and Disability markets, recently announced HITRUST recertification of their operations and systems for information security. The initial certification was awarded on 7/19/2019.

HITRUST offers a benchmark to measure and manage compliance in meeting HIPAA security rule requirements. This certification standard is built specifically for the healthcare industry. A third-party assessment verifies the organization has met all of the industry-defined certification requirements.

Recertification demonstrates that Dane Street has implemented a security framework that meets key regulations and industry-defined requirements to manage risk, and places Dane Street in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification.

“We are pleased to once again demonstrate our commitment to privacy, security and compliance by achieving the industry’s gold standard designation, the HITRUST CSF,” said CEO Will Fulton. “Certification provides important assurance to our clients that we are safeguarding their members’ information as our top priority, and offering the utmost data protection available.”

The certification is valid for two years. Continued monitoring of security controls with no reportable data security breaches is required for certification renewal.
