Ametros Publishes a Member Impact Report

September 22, 2020 - WorkCompWire

Wilmington, MA – To commemorate its 10-year anniversary, Ametros recently released a Member Impact Report highlighting its 2019 CareGuard member interactions and experiences and healthcare savings data.

Ametros is the industry leader in professional administration, providing savings and healthcare support for injured individuals once they settle a workers’ compensation or liability case.

“At Ametros, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide outstanding service to our members and clients,” said Chief Financial Officer Nicole Sauk. “This report reflects the integrity of our operations and our services, while demonstrating the healthcare savings provided to our members.”

While the professional administration industry has grown over the past several years, there continues to be a lack of understanding of the benefits that professional administrators can provide. “We do much more than simply handle Medicare Set Aside reporting to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,” said Ametros’ CEO, Marques Torbert. “Injured individuals trust us to support and care for them after they settle their cases.”

The impact report, audited by independent accounting firm DiCicco, Gulman, & Company LLP, highlights:

  • Average Ametros CareGuard member savings in 2019 – 47 percent
  • Mini case studies showing how savings were achieved on provider visits (55.2 percent average), prescriptions (27.6 percent average), and durable medical equipment (41 percentage average)
  • Ametros customer service metrics, including 60-second response and processing time
  • Quality assurance initiatives
  • Ametros’ technology and security

The Member Impact Report is part of an Ametros’ goal to educate the industry on the benefits of professional administration and provide transparency into its operations. It demonstrates how Ametros’ services, cost-savings initiatives, and culture of caring work to improve the lives of injured people.

The first professional administrator to release this information publicly, Ametros plans to produce future reports to build on the insights in this inaugural publication.
