NAMSAP Installs 2020 Board Officers and Directors

Baton Rouge, LA – The National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP) recently installed its 2020 Board of Directors. NAMSAP was established in 2005 and serves as the leading advocate for an efficient and effective Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance system and as the industry source for all involved parties.

The 2020 Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals are:

President:
Ciara Koba, Esq., Partner, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, Pittsburgh, PA;
Ciara F. Koba is a Partner in the Pittsburgh office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Medicare Compliance Group. Koba is an attorney and licensed registered nurse with significant general and surgical nursing experience and she brings a unique understanding of the healthcare industry to the resolution of Medicare issues.

Vice President:
Daniel Anders, Esq., MSCC, Chief Compliance Officer, Tower MSA Partners, Chicago, IL;
Daniel M. Anders, Esq., is the Chief Compliance Officer for Tower MSA Partners where he oversees the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance program. In this position, Anders is responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of all MSP compliance services and products.

Steven Miller, DPh, RPh, CMSP-F, President, PharmacyMSA, Nashville, TN;
Steven J. Miller, CMSP-F, MSPharm, DPh, RPh, is president of PharmacyMSA.com, a multi-faceted health care consulting organization, specializing in workers compensation and liability Medicare Set Aside development and intervention, clinical geriatric medication therapy management, managed care formulary review and analysis, provider and patient clinical intervention, and managed care pharmaceutical reimbursement issues.

Treasurer:
John Kane, AIC, CMSP, MSCC, Liberty Mutual, Dover, NH;
ohn Kane serves as the Medicare Program Director for the Liberty Mutual Group. As a twenty-five year employee with Liberty Mutual, Kane has served in a variety of claim positions including Liability and Workers’ Compensation including Regional Claims Manager for Integrated Disability Management and Loss Portfolio Risk Manager.

Amy Bilton, Esq., MSCC, CMSP-F, Shareholder, Nyhan Bambrick Kinzie & Lowry, Chicago, IL;
Amy E. Bilton, Esq. is a shareholder and workers’ compensation defense trial attorney at the Chicago law firm of Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie & Lowry. She received her BA from the University of Michigan, JD from DePaul University College of Law and has her MSCC certification.
