Austin, TX – Steven Oldham, of Houston, has been elected to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company board of directors. Oldham was elected at the company’s annual policyholder meeting on July 29. His board term for Texas Mutual—the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance—is set to expire in 2025.
Oldham is a partner at Autumn Lane Advisors, a boutique wealth management firm in Houston offering investment consulting and private partnership opportunities. He serves as a board director for Central Bank-Houston, Signal Peak Silica LLC and Maggie Louise Confections, Inc. Additionally, he serves as treasurer for the executive board of the Sam Houston Area Council-Boy Scouts of America.
Oldham is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder—a professional credential offered internationally by the American-based CFA Institute to investment and financial professionals. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago.
Texas Mutual’s board members represent a diverse mix of Texas industries and regions. The Governor, with the advice and consent of the Texas Senate, appoints five of the nine directors, including the chair. Policyholders elect the other four directors.
