Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features Concentra’s announcement of the continued expansion of its telemedicine offerings, with the roll out of its Telemed and Telerehab solutions in Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Missouri, and Tennesse, which brings its deployment up to 17 states.
Concentra noted that both products are are specifically designed for workers’ compensation, with the goal of creating efficiencies that not only help curb rising health care costs, but also get employees actively engaged in their recovery. Readers will recall that Concentra has been rolling out telemedicine rapidly this year and it now covers 1/3 of states.
