SUNZ Holdings Launches Expanded Subrogation Services

June 18, 2018 - WorkCompWire

Bradenton, FL – SUNZ Holdings, LLC recently announced the formation of Avalon Subrogation Partners, LLC (“Avalon”), a subrogation company focused on recovering claim payments from parties who may have caused or contributed to the accident or insured the loss.

Steven F. Herrig, Chief Executive Officer of SUNZ Holdings, said, “As a provider of large deductible workers’ compensation insurance solutions, our clients bear a substantial portion of workers’ compensation claims exposure. Our mission is to continuously seek out opportunities to reduce claim costs for our clients. The team we assembled at Avalon has worked together for years, recovering an astonishing 4% of total workers’ compensation claim payments for their clients. We are excited to see them deliver the same level of cost containment results for the benefit of our clients through the application of early and aggressive subrogation protocols.”

Timothy J. Supple, President of Avalon Subrogation Partners, stated,” We believe the first 24 hours is the most impactful period of a claim file, and identifying claims with subrogation potential at the earliest possible juncture is especially important for product-caused losses in which timely securing and evaluating evidence is vital to preserving a carrier’s subrogation rights. We are focused on applying our experience, day one approach and data analytics to drive enhanced recovery results for SUNZ, and its valued insurance partners.”
