Mesa, AZ – ManageWare, LLC recently announced expanded capabilities in its ProviderLink provider portal to include electronic submissions of RFAs in California.
Today, ProviderLink allows providers to securely access critical information wherever and whenever they need it rather than having to contact each claim administrator individually. The transactions currently available to providers through ProviderLink include bill status inquiries, payment status inquiries and access to remittance information. ManageWare has now expanded these capabilities to include the electronic submission/management of Requests for Authorization (RFAs).
“We understand the current RFA management process is primarily paper/fax based, and as a result, it is difficult for both payers and providers to coordinate decisions within the required timeframe”, said Arnold Silvestri, President of ManageWare. “Particularly for our California clients, we firmly believe that the ability to have providers submit treatment requests electronically will increase transparency in the process, as well as allowing payers to handle time-critical decisions more efficiently.”
