IAIABC NextGen to Recognize Workers’ Compensation Professionals Under Age 40

May 8, 2018 - WorkCompWire

Middleton, WI – IAIABC NextGen is an awards program which recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who are having an impact and contributing to their organizations and the workers’ compensation industry. There is no other recognition program like it strictly for workers’ compensation professionals, and the IAIABC is currently accepting nominations for the award.

In 2017, 11 individuals received the NextGen award. These individuals had diverse backgrounds and experiences in workers’ compensation, including actuarial work, analytics, coverage, product development, organizational strategy, electronic data interchange, policy, and claims management. The knowledge the recipients have gained and accomplishments they have had are impressive, and bode well for the industry. It is on their backs that workers’ compensation will be carried into the future.

Nominations can be made for any individual under the age of 40 who is working in the workers’ compensation industry. Nominees cannot self-nominate, so the responsibility is on colleagues and peers to nominate those in the industry whose work has gone above and beyond.

NextGen recipients will be featured on the IAIABC website and in NextGen press materials; in the fall edition of IAIABC Perspectives magazine; and invited to participate in a special session at the IAIABC 104th Convention, October 1-4, 2018, in Williamsburg, Virginia.

NextGen nominations are open through May 23, 2018. Recipients and nominators will be notified by June 29, 2018 of the selections.
