Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the IAIABC’s announcement of the kickoff of its second annual NextGen awards program, which recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who are having an impact and contributing to their organizations and the workers’ compensation industry.
11 individuals received the NextGen award in 2017, and came from a wide variety of backgrounds Nominations are open until May 4th, and can be made for any individual under the age of 40 who is working in the workers’ compensation industry. Nominees cannot self-nominate, so the responsibility is on colleagues and peers to nominate those in the industry whose work has gone above and beyond. Award recipients will be featured on the IAIABC website and in NextGen press materials; in the fall edition of IAIABC Perspectives magazine; and invited to participate in a special session at the IAIABC 104th Convention.
