Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the announcement from the Comp Laude Awards that nominations are now open for the 2018 awards.
Comp Laude noted that it celebrates the spirit of cooperation from all parties in a united front to return the injured worker back to duty, and seeks to bring more positive dialogue to workers’ comp. Anyone involved in workers’ compensation in any jurisdiction may nominate an individual or company for an award. Nominators can choose from one of ten categories: Injured Worker, Applicant/Claimant Attorney, Defense Attorney, Medical Professional, Industry Leader, Employer, Service Provider/Vendor, Claims Professional, Work Comp Philanthropy, Agent/Broker, or write in a category. Nominations will be open until March 31, and the Awards & Gala will be held October 9-11 in San Diego.
