Oklahoma City, OK – The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission (WCC) recently announced Governor Mary Fallin will keynote the 4th Annual Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference being held October 5th – 6th, 2017, at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Norman.
“Since the workers’ compensation reforms were enacted, Oklahoma businesses have seen hundreds of millions of dollars saved in premium costs, equating to new jobs and opportunities for Oklahoma families. The number of costly trials have also decreased substantially, and injured workers are being treated fairly, more efficiently, and going back to work sooner,” said Governor Mary Fallin. “I look forward to speaking and highlighting these and other successes at the Workers’ Compensation Commission’s Annual Educational Conference.”
The conference is tailored for attorneys, health care providers, insurance adjusters, and anyone interested in learning more about the workers’ compensation system here in Oklahoma. The conference will benefit seasoned workers’ compensation professionals and those new to the industry.
“Governor Fallin continues to be a strong supporter of our mission to adjudicate cases fairly, and ensure efficient outcomes for injured workers and Oklahoma businesses,” said Mark Liotta, WCC Chairman. “The Commission looks forward to having her keynote our annual conference.”
