August 16, 2017 by WorkCompWire

St. Paul, MN – Barrier Free Access, with locations in St. Paul and Byron, Minnesota, has been named the exclusive distributor for the Liftup Raizer® in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Raizer, manufactured in Denmark and distributed throughout the world, is a battery-operated device used to get people up from the floor.

According to Mark Stinson, President/CEO of Barrier Free Access (BFA), the product is a great solution for any area where people fall and need help getting back up to their feet. “Whether it’s a public space such as a stadium, shopping mall, church, casino, hospital, assisted living building or an individual’s home, the need is the same. People are truly amazed by this product and we are so pleased to finally have the ideal solution, reducing risk of injury for both the person who has fallen and those assisting him/her.”

Barrier Free Access is the premier Safe Patient Handling (SPH) firm in the Midwest and provides expert services and solutions to safely enhance the lives of patients and caregivers throughout the continuum of care. Services include SPH program management; education; project management and installation; preventive maintenance; and top quality products.
