Addison, TX – Concentra recently announced its latest expansion with the acquisition of MedWork Occupational Health Care in the greater Dayton, Ohio area, adding two new centers to Concentra’s footprint in the market, joining an existing location already in the area. MedWork has operated in the market for more than 20 years.
Through this acquisition, Concentra assumes operations of both MedWork locations that include: 1435 Cincinnati St. Ste 100 in Dayton; and 10871 Engle Rd. in Vandalia. The clinicians and staff members at MedWork will continue to lead the centers, joining as Concentra colleagues. Building on the legacy of MedWork’s founder, Dean Imbrogno MD, MPH, Concentra will strive to uphold MedWork’s mission to make a positive difference in the health and safety of businesses and their employees in the region. The addition of the two centers in Dayton is part of a larger growth strategy where Concentra is actively looking to extend its footprint and its service to its large client base.
“We are excited to expand our portfolio of centers with the acquisition of MedWork locations, as well as several managed onsite centers. Through the addition of the impressive team and two new centers, we present additional options for employers and patients to seek quality health care in a comfortable and stress-free environment that helps set new standards for exceptional occupational medicine,” said Raad Yaldo, DO, Concentra’s Great Lakes Region Vice President of Medical Operations.
This acquisition supports Concentra’s extensive client base throughout Dayton and reinforces the company’s commitment to improving the health of America’s workforce, one patient at a time. This acquisition helps to create a wider network of quality, convenient medical care from Concentra, which includes more than 310 national occupational medical centers.
