Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the recent announcement from U.S. Healthworks of its launch of a comprehensive telemedicine program called USHW CareConnectNOW, which will link those in need of care to state-licensed medical providers 24/7.
For worker’s compensation patients, telemedicine is currently available in AZ, FL, GA, KS, MO, ME, & PA, extending the medical services available at the company’s physical locations, and will be expanded to additional states soon. Employers who have signed up for the service with U.S. HealthWorks will access it free of charge for any work-related injuries or illnesses, and patients can connect using a computer or a mobile device with a camera and internet connection, accessing the service through a webpage or the available free app.
