Farmington Hills, MI – Amerisure Insurance Company recently announced that the Amerisure Scholarship Program (ASP) has awarded $6,000 in scholarships to children of employees. The ASP granted six new scholarships and renewed 14 scholarships for the 2017/2018 academic year.
These students, along with their respective university, were awarded scholarship funding:
- Grace Demas, St. Louis University
- Kostya Dombrovski, University of Michigan
- Sarah Donohoe, Michigan State University
- Kelsie Owens, University of Georgia
- Nila Pugazhendhi, University of Michigan
- Lauren Spradley, Indiana State University
“In the 25 years since the ASP began, we have been honored to grant $450,000 in scholarships to 156 deserving students,” said Angela McBride, Chief Administrative Officer with Amerisure. “We congratulate all the scholarship recipients; each demonstrated a clear commitment to their educational goals. Amerisure is proud to not only support tomorrow’s leaders, but to help its employees with college expenses as well.”
Each year, the ASP awards up to six scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each, which is renewable for up to three years of undergraduate study. The scholarships provide assistance to Amerisure parents for the costs associated with post-secondary undergraduate education, including tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment.
