Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the recent announcement from WR Berkley that on behalf of Key Risk, its Charitable Foundation made its annual fundraising contribution of $55,000 for Kids’ Chance chapters in six states. Over the past eight years, Key Risk has raised over $320,000 for local Kids’ Chance chapters across their footprint. Also in the news today is the announcement from Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Teresa Miller and L&I Secretary Kathy Manderinos that businesses in the state will see another cut in workers’ comp insurance rates, with the approval of the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau’s annual loss cost filing.
