Tampa, FL – Optum recently announced that it will be hosting a Workers’ Compensation Continuing Education Webinar on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
The upcoming webinar is titled “Cervical spinal cord injury”: A spinal cord injury (SCI) and/or quadriplegia is an alteration or complete disruption of normal motor, sensory and autonomic function. Expert Dr. Robert Hall will review the anatomy, physiology and cause of a cervical SCI and the course of treatment to be expected from injury to discharge.
The session will also look at the long-term impact of an SCI including medical equipment and supplies, possible medical complications and ongoing treatments.
The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Robert Hall, Corporate Medical Director, Optum Workers’ Comp.
