Sacramento, CA – CCWC recently announced that its next educational offering will be an in-person seminar on Insurance Fraud.
Co-hosted by CalChamber, the seminar will take place January 19, 2017 in the California Room at the CalChamber office, located at 1215 K Street, Suite 1400, in Sacramento. The seminar begins at 11:30 a.m.
The program will feature Laureen Pedroza, Assistant Chief of the California Department of Insurance, Enforcement Branch; and Dale Kitching, Deputy District Attorney, Insurance Fraud Unit, of the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
Attendees will learn about the latest developments in the investigation and prosecution of insurance fraud from both the state and local enforcement perspectives, what’s required to prove insurance fraud, and the dos and don’ts of moving through an investigation to the Special Investigations Unit and the filing of a Suspected Fraudulent Claim Referral Form (FD-1).
Both speakers will participate in two separate presentations with Q&A sessions.
